DSF was putting together a compilation CD of the best environmental songs in Canada and asked me to donate my efforts to create the branding.
Along with inviting top artists to contribute, DSF also invited non-professional musicians to submitted songs to the Playlist in a massive song search. After an extensive public vote hosted by CBC3, one artist
from each province—and one from the North—were chosen to appear on the iTunes compilation.
Branding elements include: Davehead logomark. Stickers that attach to existing concert posters. Apparel designs. Sitelet with mini player for sign-up and voting. CD packaging included a short-run eco-driven pack utilizing discarded press sheets, and a second large-run pack for national in-store distribution.
