The Signal Center
Based in Iowa, The Signal Center creates new ways to improve healthcare and applies them to the real world. As they specialize in design, research, and technology, the exploration began around shapes and patterns within those areas. The main influence for the final mark was the wave patterns created by the human brain. 36 unique segments were created, each representing an alphanumeric character. The segment used for the logo is the letter S in the alphabet. Names, departments, and products can be 'translated' by stringing together segments in a chain: each becoming a unique pattern and signature.
